What's in a name?
Who is Dyson?
To Emi Jo Dyson wasn't just a dog, he was her soul dog. Dyson was not only chosen by Emi-Jo, he also chose her and showed it every day of his 15 years on earth. He was there for the good, the bad, the exciting, the boring, and the everything in-between. He was an incredibly smart dog excelling in obedience, agility, flyball, rally, hunting, and really anything Emi-Jo asked him to try, but his best feature was being everything Emi-Jo ever needed in a dog without hesitation. The only disappointment this dog ever created was that he didn't live forever. So, to honor him, Dyson's Pet Retreat was born so that everyone can know this incredible dog's name.Â
Boarding At Dyson's Retreat
To keep all of our furry guest happy and healthy, we require that your pet is up to date on the Rabies and Distemper vaccine before boarding with us. We also require a one week window between vaccinating your pet and staying at the retreat to ensure no adverse reactions happen while you are away.Â

We do not require Bordetella (kennel cough vaccine) though most boarding facilities do. Recent studies indicate its effectiveness is limited and does not prevent all strains. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

All dogs coming in must be on leash. We may have multiple dogs in the lobby checking in and having your pet on leash makes it safe for everyone.

What to bring:
Your pet and their food...that's it! Bedding, bowls, and treats will be provided so no need to bring those along. If you would like to bring a special chew or toy or blanket for your pet feel free!
